Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Mmmm I had the nacho mountain. Consider getting chips on the side so they don't get soggy too quick. You have to if it's a to go order otherwise the container won't close in your chips will be super soggy . The pork was really good dirty tables the soda machine was out of root beer. They send deals via email if you sign up.

Not a typical moe's. This place is run by college students and you can tell. Salsa unstocked, a chip under every step, and unkept stoners running amuck. Save yourself the hassle and go get food from someone who cares about their job.

Meh, it's another burrito place. The addition of Moe's Southwest Grill makes me wonder "what is the maximum density of burrito places that East Lansing can support?" Replacing the location of Flat's (which was "the" best diner in East Lansing), Moe's has turned the formerly drab, unoccupied corner into a bright welcoming eatery. Inside I was promptly, and energetically, greeted by the entire staff behind the counter. The menu is daunting. While they serve the typical Tex-Mex specialties (burritos, tacos, nachos, fajitas, etc), there is a large list of all the possible toppings that any one individual can have top their Tex-Mex delight. In addition the the large menu, they have a large selection of salsas available near the checkout. Okay, so now that I've been rather positive, let me explain my rating: It is another large, corporation-ran, overpriced, generic burrito place. While I enjoy the quick burrito place just as much as my gringo counterparts, I can't stand paying nearly $8 for a burrito that's just "meh." I always tend to judge burrito places based upon their pork burrito, and mine was nothing spectacular. The pork wasn't seasoned very well, the burrito was leaking liquid profusely, the flavors were bland, and the salsas were not great. Given the density of burrito places on Grand River, this one definitely did not come close to the competition. Next time I will be going to Ch****le, or Pan**eros, or Q***ba over Moe's.

I really liked this place. I'm not usually much one for the chain "southwest grill" type places. But the flavor palette here is unique enough to have gotten my attention. I had the Chicken Club Quesadilla. It was a great flavor. Enough spice for me. It was a great creation.

I went to Moe's on my lunch break one day, since I was curious about the new restaurant and wanted to try it out. They had a great selection of ingredients, better than many competitors in the area (Qdoba, Chipotle, etc). They also had the chips and salsa thing, which was a lot of fun since I'm a salsa aficionado myself. I tried every single salsa at the salsa bar. The staff was friendly, the menu is good, and the food is a solid B. Overall, four stars. I would recommend Moe's over its competitors.

Nothing spectacular. It's your typical chain. Tortillas and chips are pre-made. It is nice to get chips and salsa with every order and they have a variety of mediocre salsa. I got the steak. It was cooked good, but not much flavor. I do like that they don't charge you for extra ingredients. Also i like that they have kids meals in kids sizes. Place is clean, and the staff are very friendly. I'd eat here again, but I prefer Pancheros.

Went with two co-workers, food was fresh and delicious, pricing wasn't terrific and could use a bit more chicken on my quesadilla, but it's quite tasty. They also have a Coke Freestyle machine, which was very nice. Staff was also very nice. Probably my favorite among Q and Panchero's.
